The Mauldin Chamber of Commerce also serves as the City of Mauldin Welcome Center. Our purpose is to be the hub that provides newcomers, businesses and the community the information they need in order to have the best experience possible. We are a resource, a partner and an advocate.

The Welcome Center takes phone calls from all over from people who have researched the area and are very interested in Mauldin. We mail relocation packets full of area details to many cities across the United States. Many who call for information stop by to meet us!

ABOUT MAULDIN
Mauldin is a city located in Upstate South Carolina, and is part of the Greenville County. With a 2020 population of 25,327, it is the 20th largest city in South Carolina and the 1517th largest city in the United States.

Mauldin ranked 5th in the list of the safest cities in South Carolina, according to the National Council for Home Safety and Security, a home security trade association. Mauldin also has the lowest property taxes in all of Greenville County.
Mauldin is a place full of hidden gems. From restaurants to annual events, you'll always find something to do. Most of the events hosted in Mauldin are family oriented and free.

ENTERTAINMENT
Mauldin offers many entertainment options throughout the year. From our annual Egg Drop at Sunset Park to our traditional Christmas Parade on West Butler and Beachin' Fridays, people from near and far join us every year. Here, you'll also find some of the best local restaurants and parks.

Children have many great playgrounds to choose from, including an enclosed, accessible and sensory playground for special needs kids. Our five parks have numerous picnic areas, basketball courts, baseball fields, picnic shelters and trails. Speaking of trails, recently, Mauldin became a part of the Swamp Rabbit Trail extension, which will include a pedestrian bridge over Interstate 385! Currently, this trails is 22 miles long and connects Travelers Rest to Greenville. Bordering Mauldin is Conestee Park, which is the home of a 45,000sqft dog park, Greenville Little League, Greenville Dirt Series, and the annual Get Out Greenville festival.
Mauldin also offers many youth and adults sports programs. Our City is the proud home to The Mauldin Miracle League, an organized youth baseball league for athletes have physical & developmental challenges.

In October of 2020, Mauldin's Ray W. Hopkins Senior Center reopened its doors after going through a renovation. The building meets the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements and along with hallway widening, kitchen and bathroom renovations, it has gained an elevator.
